As the critical ingredient in the manufacturing of concrete, cement is indispensable for growth in virtually all the sectors, be it housing or industry, institutions or businesses, infrastructure or defence.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a rapidly diversifying, highly developed economy which has proved to be remarkably resilient, despite the impact of the global economic downturn. Increasing government expenditure on infrastructure development and housing projects in the region has led to a major boom in the construction and real estate sectors. The stage was thus perfectly set for JK Cement Ltd. to roll out our capacity expansion plans, beyond national borders into the MENA & SA (Middle East and North Africa & South Asia).
For over four decades, JK Cement has pioneered various initiatives and technological breakthroughs in the Indian Industry, and is one of the foremost participants in India’s industrial growth. The Company’s maiden overseas plant at Fujairah, UAE, is the fruition of a long nurtured dream. Based on a strategic understanding of the available opportunities, we are confident about leveraging them to the maximum.
Through JK Cement Works (Fujairah) FZC, the Company plans to cater to the White Cement demand in the region as well as to the neighboring countries. As has been a ritual with JK Cement Ltd., in this venture as well, we will continually strive to uphold the quality consciousness, customer experience and best ethical practices that JK Cement Ltd. is known for.
